You know that scene
at the beginning of a Sofia Coppola movie when we’re introduced to a fascinating but totally despondent male character, and he’s going about his tedious daily routine, and we can get a clear sense from something as simple as the way he brushes his teeth that he’s lost all control over who he is and what he’s doing? That’s pretty much where I am right now.

I give up.
I like writing. You get to arrange letters into words, which form sentences, which when juxtaposed properly with one another tend to create at least a semblance of meaning. A lot of people do it better than I do; but I like doing it, and I don’t mind sharing my work with the internet. Blogging is no problem for me.
